Collaboration with Morrison

A Cafe meeting, an introduction on a school camp, an opportunity to help others and a respect for the creative process has finally brought my work together with Morrison. Our collaboration will involve an art work of mine to be printed onto a silk garment. The garment will be launched at the opening evening of my exhibition "Gemstones and Millstreams" October 11th at 6pm at PSAS along with sound, sculpture, oil paintings and an installation of encaustic mono prints

It has been a terrific opportunity to extend my art practice.. I must admit I was not sure how we could come up with something that had integrity;  that it was not a departure from the essence of my work for "Gemstones and Millstreams". What has actually transpired is closer to what I was trying to achieve with my body of art work than I had imagined.  Kylie and Liz observed more about my work than I had realised.
